We will be tapping into the energies of the summer months this month. In a nutshell, we are being asked to stay focused, be prepared to feel a bit vulnerable, be patient and really look at what our life purpose is, along with bouts of conflict as unresolved issues bubble to the surface.
As we start off this month new opportunities will be presenting themselves and we will be offered a new way of life if we can let go of the old. We are being asked to look forward and not to look backward thinking ‘What if?’, because the things and people that are for us will come along for the ride, and we will be setting ourselves free from
the situations and people that will ultimately hold us back.
The first part of November is a time to be patient. We would be advised to (once again) spend some alone time and recognise that everything happens at the right time and not before. Being impatient and attempting to force events will only create friction and we’ll receive an inferior result – a bit like putting a cake in the oven,
taking it out after 15 minutes and expecting it to be perfectly baked – it just doesn’t happen! There could also be some conflict around – maybe misunderstandings or resentments that have been festering for a while and are now coming to the surface to be healed. Patience and understanding are needed in resolving these issues as friendships could be on the line otherwise.
In the middle part of the month it’s time to take a bit of a breather and look after the mundane issues of life. It can indicate a break from drama where nothing particularly exciting is happening – bordering on boring at times – I don’t know about you, but I could do with some of that right now! It won’t last too long though because we
also need to be focused and disciplined and there is a definite tendency to get frustrated and a bit techy if things don’t go according to our plans – hence the need for patience and immersion into our everyday lives where we feel more grounded and hopefully less reactive and touchy.
Towards the end of November we are being asked to look at our lives and the direction of those lives. The questions ‘Who am I?’, ‘What is my purpose?’ and ‘Why am I on this planet at this time?’ need to be answered! This is a pivotal time in the history of this planet and if we haven’t yet stood up and been counted, then it’s high time
that we took on that responsibility and did just that. It’s time to love ourselves a bit more, forge new love relationships/friendships or mend old ones and start new projects that we are passionate about. This is not a time when making do, putting up with situations we are unhappy with work – that is a cop out and doesn’t fit in with the unique soul that each of us is and the life we were born to live! We all came here to make a difference in some way – each of us has a
contribution to make. It doesn’t have to be about starting a global movement, or running a country – it can be about adopting a child, rescuing an animal or just about being kind and making a positive difference in someone else’s life. We each have our unique role.
As we come to the end of the month it’s time to start a new project, do some studying, learn a new skill, but it’s all about a new direction.
Our luck throughout the month is to look forward at the new things and people that will come into our lives and not to look back at the past and get enveloped and paralysed by grief, a feeling of betrayal, despair and loss. I’m not suggesting that we can’t feel all those emotions, but I am warning about a tendency to reside in the negative
emotions which can cripple us for years to come if we aren’t careful, and which ultimately leads to bitterness.
November is a month where we have to make choices about how we wish to live our lives. A door is being presented to us! We can choose to not open the door and hold on to the past – grievances and all, or we can choose to open the door and step through into a new way of life which will be driven by our soul/life purpose, so that we will ultimately
end up following our dreams and our true reason for being here. The choice is entirely ours – we have the gift of free will.
I wish everyone an illuminating November with the gift of patience and true purpose.
