Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
November and December – 5 of Wands
October and December – Strength
July and December – 6 of Swords
The domestic trials and tribulations from last month aren’t quite behind us yet and will emerge again around the end of the month. There could be a few emotional times ahead this month too – it might be the re-emergence of something we had to deal with back in October, if we didn’t completely clear up the issue at the time. There is the opportunity of more
spiritual learning and understanding coming from these particular problems we have been dealing with for a few months now – if we can divorce ourselves from the blame game and look at the lessons we can take from them.
As we start off this month we need to make sure that we don’t overload ourselves. I know that the Christmas season can be very stressful for some people, but it is important to take some time out for ourselves and use the word ‘No’ when we really don’t want to do something. The holiday season is for everyone, not just the fortunate
few!
The first part of December it will be apparent to some of us that we are coming to an end of an era. If we have applied ourselves and done our best, we will find that the rewards we have been hoping for will start to show up. People will get what they deserve – either the negative or the positive. As my grandmother used to say – you can’t
put a penny in and expect to get sixpence out. It will be a time of spiritual learning where we will be better able to look through the layers to discover the truth of matters. A time to not just look at someone’s face, but to unearth what is in their heart and, with that knowledge, we will be better able to understand them.
In the middle part of the month it’s time to let down our hair and party! We need to stop taking life so seriously and have some fun. We will be well advised to lighten up because otherwise we could get into ego and emotionally related battles with other people. The holiday season, as mentioned before, can be stressful and some of us might
be required to spend time with people that we don’t have anything in common with. We need to take everything with a pinch of salt, smile and be pleasant, expect the best and don’t let anyone ruffle our feathers. The potential discomfort is often of a temporary nature, so what’s the point of embarking on World War III?
Towards the end of December some of us may have a few legal matters that need to be dealt with. In any case, we need to keep a cool head and use well-balanced thought and judgement in our daily dealings. This is not the time to let emotions cloud the issue. The battle with material reality will be raising its head – this could be a shortage
of money or things could break down. We would be wise to resist the pressure to overspend this month – I know that there is the desire to buy people gifts and to stock up the larder, but we could end up on an emotional low after Christmas is over and we suddenly find we don’t have the money to pay the bills.
As we come to the end of the month we will start to see our way forward. We will be discovering gifts and talents that we didn’t know we had and we will be feeling intuitively guided onto new paths.
Our luck throughout the month is to be prepared to walk away from anything in our lives that isn’t working for us. If we are in a situation where we have given 100% and it’s still not working the way we were hoping for, then it’s time to let go and try something new – a new direction. What better time to start something fresh than at the end of
the year, with a whole new chapter ahead of us?
Merry Christmas, if you celebrate it, and a pleasant holiday season if you don’t! The important messages for December are not to overload ourselves (emotionally or financially), to make time for ourselves where we can, and that we are moving into a new era and will reap the rewards of efforts we have already made. This is showing up as being a very
emotionally charged month, so we would be wise to keep our cool and smile our way through it – albeit with gritted teeth at times!
2019 – Here we come!!
