Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with
those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in last 6 months:
July, August
and September - 3 of Swords
June, August and September – King of Cups
April and September – Ace of Cups
Well, the 3 of Swords is hanging around for the third month in a row, indicating that there are still areas of conflict that need to be
resolved. We are in a strong position of being able to pour oil on troubled waters though, with the King of Cups also hanging around – giving us the counsellor and healer within us. The energy of our imagination has arrived again after a 6 months absence, which is always a good sign!
As we start off this month we need to recognise that it’s a time of quite a bit of anxiety for many people, what with one thing and another going on in the world at large, so this might be something that is impacting our personal lives as well. We, as well as others, might be a bit less tolerant than we would have been previously. If we can attempt to count to ten before we speak in anger or frustration, this would serve us
well.
The first part of September indicates the possibility of something new on the horizon. We could be taking up a course of study, or starting new work or a project which we haven’t attempted before. This could be a worthwhile investment for our further
development. If there is a strong feeling associated with this, then it’s important to be single-minded about it and not let others talk us out of it, or take us off track.
In the middle part of the month it’s important to stick with our principles and not accept second best
for either ourselves or the people we care about. Cutting corners for the sake of a quicker solution isn’t a wise choice. We will also be feeling compassionate towards others – whether in the form of people or animals. Our hearts will be open and we will want to spread goodwill and happiness. Some of us might also be feeling that it’s time for a long term and committed relationship.
Towards the end of September there’s joy and celebration, validation of a commitment. This can be commitment relating to other people, our work or our commitment to being the best we can possibly be. It’s a good time to pat ourselves on the back as we’ve worked hard to get here. Someone new will potentially show up as well – this can be either in the
form of a romantic partner or business partner. The cups indicate both love and business, because ideally our work is what we love to do. It won’t be someone we know well, if at all.
As we come to the end of the month we will be wearing the hat of counsellor and healer
and will find ourselves in demand by people who need some support in their lives at this time. We need to be aware that we are good at helping others, but not great at allowing others to help us. Therefore, if someone offers us some support, we would be wise not to reject it out of hand. We aren’t invincible after all.
Our luck throughout the month is the time we take for ourselves. If we can keep the socialising to a minimum and spend time alone, in quiet contemplation, taking a walk in nature or even reading a book or listening to music, this would be very beneficial. The Hermit indicates that it’s a time to be patient and that everything will happen when the time is right, so just go with the flow and know that we are
being looked after. Trying to push forward and make an impact at this time won’t be of benefit to us, so just relax and be!
Wishing everyone a peaceful September and let your troubles be little
ones.
