Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated:
July, August and September – 9 of Cups
July and September – Ace of Swords
June, July and September – 5 of Swords
June and September – The Chariot
Looking at the cards which have been duplicated, the predominant energy from June onwards is that of feeling proud of ourselves
for the things we have fully committed to and achieved, but having to make sure that we aren’t over extended and haven’t bitten off more than we can chew. We have started to think in new ways and begun to make new plans, though we have to also make sure that these plans aren’t sabotaged by others. Focus and discipline are the order of the day, as we can have a tendency to get snappy and irritable when things aren’t going as fast as we’d like them to.
As we start off this month we really need to keep a rein on our tempers. It feels like we can be easily irritated and, for whatever reason, we can’t move forward as quickly as we would like to. We would be advised to have a focused and disciplined mind set, keep our eyes on the goal and just keep going in that direction – step by
step – we will get there eventually as long as we are persistent.
The first part of September feels quite tempestuous and disorientating. We could find that situations and people are leaving our lives unexpectedly and it is easy to fall into a stance of worrying. The problem that we face when
worrying is that we block our intuition and guidance and can feel very adrift with no anchor. Please be assured that whatever leaves our lives has completed its part – whether this is a job,
relationship, living situation etc. We don’t lose what is ours and what is meant for us for the future. It is just the Universe clearing our path to better things ahead. The best advice would
be to go with the flow, know that all is well and just see how things turn out. Try not to fight for what is leaving, because if it’s not meant for you any more it won’t bring you happiness in the future. Our lives are being cleared so that good things can come towards us without the obstacles of the ‘past their sell by date’ situations.
In the middle part of the month things start to lighten up a bit, though we will have to be firm and say no to some demands that are being made of us. This has been a bit of a theme this summer – people taking advantage of us and hampering us in our own journeys. As I have said in previous readings, by all means help people that need help, but try to avoid carrying people who are well able to look after themselves, if they
have the mind to do it. I know that this is difficult, as we ourselves have often encouraged them to view us as indispensable, and now we have a millstone round our necks. All in all though, we can be proud of ourselves and our achievements – this hasn’t been an easy year and we are still standing – just!
Towards the end of September new projects are starting to show themselves. Maybe we will get the urge to do a course of study, whether for pleasure or in preparation for a change of vocation. Going back to the mention of not letting people take advantage of us – we will have to make sure that this new project doesn’t end up on the shelf because we are paying too much attention to other people’s wants and needs, and not enough to our own development.
It isn’t a bad thing to be selfish at all – in fact, if we look at it in another way – aren’t we trapped and taken advantage of because others have got a really good handle on being selfish themselves?
As we come to the end of the month we will be feeling much more adventurous, especially if we have gone with
the flow of the month and released the things that are no longer for us. Maybe it’s a time for decluttering our space of material objects that we no longer use too. We will be champing at the bit and wanting to go and explore the world around us, rather than waiting for things to come to us. We will have a lot more energy and enthusiasm than we have had of late.
Our luck throughout the month is the releasing of anxiety and tension and some smooth sailing at long last. We can achieve this if we don’t worry about the changes which might be happening in our lives. Change is part of life and it’s a healthy thing – if everything stays the same we just stagnate. These are times of great change and many people recognise that massive change
is needed in many areas of life these days. So, my advice is to go with the flow and keep centred. Go on holiday if you can, and if not, spend some time sitting quietly or in nature, with your own thoughts. If we can keep ourselves in a mentally calm place, then nothing outside of us can shake our foundations and peace of mind will be ours.
