Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it, and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
July and September – Queen of Pentacles
June and September – The Sun
April and September – Ace of Cups
March and September – 4 of Pentacles
The returning energies are indicating that we need to make sure that we pay attention to our homes and home life. It’s important to keep a positive and enthusiastic view of the future with an open heart and not shut ourselves down by holding onto outdated belief systems and habits.
As we start off this month we could find ourselves in a battle of the egos which is emotional to say the least. Whatever the situation we need to take a step back and look at it from a different angle. Nothing is insurmountable if a different approach is taken.
The first part of September might
find us being stubborn and stuck in our old way of doing things. This will get in the way of attracting new ideas and finances. It’s important to be flexible and open minded. There are new ideas aplenty – it’s just a matter of getting out of our own way and embracing the journey.
In the middle part of the month the ‘will I, won’t I’ energy comes to a head and we need
to make a decision. We know that there are things in our lives that need changing, so our choice is either to stay in a less than optimal situation or cut the ties that bind us and move forward with an open heart excited about future opportunities. Some of us might decide that it’s time for a committed relationship and others will be looking at helping people in a more general way.
Towards the end of September it will be time to look after ourselves better. This can be about saving money and/or making efforts on a nutritional and exercise basis. As both the Page and Queen of Pentacles have shown up, it emphasises the importance of taking care of ourselves, our loved ones and our homes. Our social lives aren’t as important right now.
As we come to the end of the month there could be a few surprises coming our way. It would be wise not to dismiss any opportunity that presents itself but give it careful consideration. Just because it might not look like something we would ordinarily gravitate towards, doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be good for our development and learning.
Our luck throughout the month strangely enough is the people that leave us and the change of circumstances we are being forced to embrace. This is a month of disruption which will enable new people and situations to enter our lives. We mustn’t see it as everything going wrong, but recognise that we have possibly put off changing things that haven’t been the best for us and now the Universe has stepped in to make the necessary
changes. We are being offered a new start and the people and situations that add value to our lives will still be around. It is only the things that have passed their sell by date which will disappear.
Our main challenge this month is to keep a sunny outlook. When we are being torn between the old and the new, it often feels like everything is against us.
Keeping optimistic can be hard, but if we can look forward with optimism and excitement about our future and the new adventures that are ahead of us it would serve us greatly.
Summary – September is a month for self-reflection and self-care. It’s a month to be more introverted and to make sure we have a solid homebase. For instance, making sure the bills are paid before
splurging on a holiday or some new and shiny object. Unfortunately, the bills don’t go away and cause us more stress if they aren’t paid on time!!
Wishing everyone an illuminating and enlightening September which will help ground us ready for October and onwards.
