Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6
months:
September and November – 9 of Pentacles
September and November – 2 of Swords
August and November - 5 of Wands
July and November – 8 of Swords
June and November – 4 of Swords
The repeated cards this month indicate that we are being reminded to pat ourselves on
the back when we've achieved something and to keep our ears open for new opportunities. Even if material reality challenges us and we sometimes feel like we're stuck between a rock and a hard place, it's important not to be reactive but to take some time out to listen to our inner voice.
As we start off this month we would be wise to take some
time out to ground ourselves and connect with our inner wisdom. In that way we will intuitively know the right actions to take and won't be as influenced by other people's input when it doesn't resonate. This is a good start to the month ahead.
The first part of November could be challenging, but only on a day to day level - nothing major. Money could be fluctuating,
people in our circle could rub us up the wrong way or material objects could break down. All these things are temporary and, if we have successfully tuned into our inner voice, can be brushed off as 'that's life'! Another reason that it's important not to get distracted by the small stuff is that we need to make some decisions and it's likely that other people will be affected. We need a clear head in order to make mature decisions as the choices we make at this time are
important - it can be regarding personal relationships or other life choices.
In the middle part of the month we might have the tendency to clap our hands over our ears and start singing when other people are trying to give us advice or information, but by doing that we might miss something important that would be to our advantage. My advice is to listen to what other people have
to say and mentally discard what doesn't resonate. We will also avoid their frustration and irritation because we're not listening! What also shows up is success - people patting us on the back and congratulating us for some achievement. Another reason to listen to what people are saying.
Towards the end of November we are likely to be very proud of ourselves.
It's lovely when other people congratulate us for our achievements (however big or small) but it's even better to know that we have done our best and couldn't have done more. Following on from this glow of success, we are being pushed to get off the fence and show others our abilities and talents. It's time to market ourselves and contribute in whatever direction we are guided.
As we come
to the end of the month we will know if we have been open-minded, grounded and have listened to others, because if we haven't then we could feel very stuck - whichever way we turn someone will be getting upset with us. This is something we can avoid if we heed the message of the earlier cards in this reading.
Our luck throughout the month is about being open to a
new project, which isn't necessarily motivated by money. It's more purposeful than that - another step on our soul's journey which brings excitement and enthusiasm into our lives. It's all down to whether we are prepared to take a risk and follow where we are being led.
Summary – This month is about remaining grounded, making well thought out decisions which can lead us to
success and pride in our achievements. There is a lot to be gained if we are cognisant of other people's feelings and listen to them, regardless of whether we want to or not. We don't have to take their advice and, you never know, our listening to them could be really important to them and it's not about us at all. I am feeling prompted to say that there are many people going through mental health problems at the moment, feeling unseen, unappreciated and alone. The time we take
to communicate with them could make the world of difference.
I hope that November is a great month for you, with lots of back patting and praise. Things are moving forward and the energy is changing - we are all being tuned up as it were to embrace new and exciting things for the future.
