Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.

Material, physical and financial
matters are the only energies that are re-emerging this month. We are being asked to acknowledge our achievements but also to embrace new projects or courses of study. This is a month to push forward rather than sitting back on our haunches.
As we start off this month we need to use well thought out balance and judgement. This is not a time to give reign to emotional excess. Maybe we have some legal matters to attend to and we need to have the
presence of mind to cross the t’s and dot the i’s. If we are unsure as to whether we will be able to keep our emotions in check in our particular set of circumstances, then it might be wise to ask for help and guidance from a level-headed friend who can provide the emotional stability that is needed at this time.
The first part of September is about acknowledging our achievements and how far we have already come on our own particular journey. We often don’t
pause to take breath and pat ourselves on the back for past achievements. That is what we need to do as we start off September – congratulate ourselves on a job already well done and then forge forward with optimism into the new project ahead of us. We might be looking at a new job or studying with the aim of a new venture down the line. Whatever it might be, start it with the knowledge that you have achieved before, therefore you can achieve again.
In the
middle part of the month it’s all about the new project – it could even be a pregnancy for some. However it manifests, it requires nurturing and passion – the same as a physical baby would need. We are likely to be distracted by some conflict involving the people around us – issues that haven’t been fully addressed could rear their heads and cause unpleasantness – or even the ending of friendships if we aren’t careful. Sometimes these conflicts are the result of
assumptions and misunderstandings and it would be wise to get everyone on the same page as they won’t go away on their own.
Towards the end of September we still have these conflicts around that haven’t been resolved as yet. Our tendency will be to stop listening, withdraw and pretend that it’s all done and dusted. Putting the proverbial sticking plaster on rather than thoroughly cleaning out the wound. The effort put into solving the problem will be
well worth it, because with it comes a feeling of self-congratulation – knowing that we’ve done well and being proud of ourselves in the process.
As we come to the end of the month we could be feeling a bit vulnerable. There could be the rebuilding of relationships, loving ourselves a bit more or new projects that need care and attention. Think of it as a fire we are trying to light – we add paper and kindling very slowly in the beginning to encourage the
flames to take hold and grow, or else the fire could easily be snuffed out by the weight of logs added too soon.
Our luck throughout the month is to have some fun and not take life too seriously. Go to dinner with friends, or the cinema or have a party – anything that helps us to lighten up and laugh a little.
This month is all about new projects and giving ourselves credit for the path we have already trodden. Focus on the positive impact we have
made and learn the lessons from the things we could have handled better and then move on – older and wiser. This is also a time of resolving past grievances and coming to a new understanding with all those involved – integrity and honesty is the way forward. If, despite our best efforts, friendships are still broken, then know that we have done our best and it is the end of the road for certain unions. Everything has a season, as the saying goes.
Wishing you a
productive September interspersed with times of laughter and fun. After all, what is life without kicking up our heels from time to time?
