Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
April and May – The Hierophant
April and May – The Moon
January and May – 4 of Cups
January and May – 3 of Pentacles
December and May – Knight of Swords
December and May – 9 of Wands
The main energies that are being brought forward are the two major arcana cards that have repeated themselves from last month. The focus for this month is our soul journey and the lack of direction and control we will feel from time to time. What energy returns to a lesser degree are situations or people we have fallen out of love with, our financial needs being met, our wish for change and a few
obstacles in our path.
As we start off this month there could be the tendency to take on more than we can physically handle. There is a need to prioritise and make sure that others
aren’t taking advantage of our good nature and guilting us into doing things for them that they could easily do themselves.
The first part of May heralds the Hierophant who is the teacher and is about our soul purpose. The questions we need to ask ourselves are: ‘Who am I?’, ‘What’s my purpose?’ and ‘Why am I on this planet at
this time?’ This card has turned up in exactly the same position as last month, but this month the card accompanying it is about our willingness to throw everything up in the air and see where it lands. Last month it was about opportunities for a new way of life, but this month there is more action and a drive to make change happen.
In the middle part of the month we are unlikely to know exactly where we are going. It is wise to take time to ourselves to meditate or reflect – whatever works for us personally. The bottom line is that we need to have some solitude so that we can separate ourselves from the voices around us with their opinions and agendas. The way to navigate these uncertain waters, where there are more questions than answers. is to connect with our inner voice and let it guide us. If we don’t immediately receive guidance, then the best advice is to keep well out of the way, don’t make any decisions we might regret later and eventually we will be shown our path.
Towards the end of May opportunities will come our way from out of the blue. It’s important not to dismiss anything out of hand, explore all options and then make a decision. We would be wise to take our time and really research each opportunity because we don’t want to have any regrets down the line. All
that glistens is not gold, is a good saying to remember!
As we come to the end of the month we will have a few obstacles to overcome, but that’s life. I always see obstacles as opportunities to learn – once we have learnt the lesson we can move on. It will help us tremendously if we keep our
eye of the goal and ‘not sweat the small stuff’ as the saying goes. If we focus on the obstacle it becomes the goal, and we can get stuck and lose sight of the bigger picture.
Our luck throughout the month is the flow of money that will be coming in. I’m not talking about massive wealth, but
small rewards for efforts made – enough to keep the wolf from the door. It’s about receiving monetary compensation for work done.
The important message is to seek some solitude so that we can better handle whatever life throws at us. If we don’t feel in control of the world outside of us, at least we can work on controlling how we deal with it on a
personal level.
Wishing you a great month ahead and hoping that you will be even more knowledgeable about your soul purpose by the time June is here.
