Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
September
and October – King of Pentacles
August and October - Strength
July and October – 4 of Pentacles
Thankfully this month will be less tempestuous than last month, but we need to keep an eye on our inner resistance to change. There could be some emotional and ego-based arguments going on, but the good news is that there will be more
money available.
As we start off this month there will be a feeling of expansion and that our lives aren’t big enough for us anymore. This could result in some people moving home or changing their jobs. In whatever way it manifests, there is the energy of expansion and change in the
air.
The first part of October can find some of us holding onto the past for grim death – digging in with our fingernails or with heels firmly planted in the ground. However, time marches on and if we don’t change, things will change around us and leave us behind. This will result in a
blockage of money and creativity, so it’s best to lighten up and go with the flow. We will have grown beyond our current circumstances and knowledge and, however comfortable we may have become, it’s time to start something new. There are new projects waiting for us – things we can expand and grow past our current achievements. This can be in the form of personal
projects or new jobs, but it is the beginning of a new stage of learning.
In the middle part of the month it could be a time of grieving for some or a feeling of betrayal for others. Whatever the circumstances, there is a feeling of loss and regret at how things have turned out. It would be helpful at this time to focus on the good
memories and positive experiences the person or situation brought us, as that wisdom and knowledge will remain with us going forward. At the same time as we feel this sadness, we will be aware of the network of people around us who are prepared to share money and resources to whoever needs it at that time. This is a situation of genuine sharing within communities and everyone giving what they can in equal
measure – unlike a charity situation.
Towards the end of October something or someone might have riled us up and we could be feeling very emotional and prepared for a fight. There can be a feeling of helplessness and/or hopelessness which creates the strong emotions that are driving us. If we
take a deep breath and take a step back from the situation we will be better able to find a solution – there is always a solution! Rather than flailing around in anger (which is exhausting), we can formulate a plan and can direct our anger (or whatever emotion we are feeling) into a productive outcome. I’m not saying that it will all be smooth sailing by any means because we will often feel as though we are
stuck between a rock and a hard place and whatever way we turn, someone is going to get upset.
Note to selves: people also get upset if we have made promises in the past and don’t fulfil them!
As we come to
the end of the month we need to step it up a notch and work hard in order to keep ahead of the game. It’s a time of applying ourselves to being the best that we can be and putting the work in to achieve that.
Our luck throughout the month is a good one. It’s money coming in – King
Midas has turned up and everything we touch turns to gold. There will be more money than we are used to having turning up which will bring relief to many people.
As some of you are probably aware, the way the cards work for me is on a self-development basis and October emphasises this. We have to be prepared to open our eyes to the positive things and
people around us and let go of the things and people that are holding us back. Nobody can do it for us. If we had some stinking rotting fish sitting on our kitchen counter, would we open the window and hope that the wind blows it away, or would we wrap it up and throw it out? It’s the same with things we have outgrown in life which are turning sour on us – the
wind won’t blow them away. We have to make a decision about what direction we want our life to go in – backwards or forwards – and then take action!
I wish you a prosperous month surrounded by a loving community which will inspire and support you.
