Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
September and November – 7 of Pentacles
September and November – The Hanged Man
August and November – King of Swords
August and November – Death
June and November – 5 of Swords
The energy being brought forward from previous months is that of making choices to
move on with our lives and turning our backs on the things that no longer work for us and that we’ve outgrown. We need to do this with focused planning and making sure that we don’t take on more than we can physically handle. It really is time to embrace change.
As we start off this
month we ourselves could be creating chaos in our own lives in the attempt to create change. There is the urge to throw things into the air to see where they land – metaphorically of course! Many of us are feeling stagnant in our lives and we are craving change.
The first part of
November we would be wise to sit down and make some plans. Where do we want to be in 3 months, 6 months etc. If it’s not exactly where we are now, then it’s time to plot the path ahead to get us to where we want to be. This can be a bit of a challenge if we have quite a comfortable life – we will be resistant to letting go of the things that aren’t
that unpleasant and, even though we know it’s time to make changes, the temptation to stay exactly where we are will be strong.
In the middle part of the month there will be an opportunity of a new way of life if we can let go of the old and we’ll be asked to make willing sacrifices of the things that no longer nurture us in order to create something new. This will be quite intense as these two cards are major arcana and the harbingers of major change. We might still want to resist but it will be a losing battle so we may as well just go with the flow – time waits for no man!
Towards the end of November new opportunities will be coming our way and
we will need to prioritise our time. There will be the temptation to grab everything that is coming our way in the fear that we will miss out. However, doing that will only exhaust us and we will end up not having the time to do anything properly. My advice is to take on board those projects that excite us and we are drawn to and then give them 100% of our
attention. It is also important to have rest and relaxation in order to do our best work. We need to be mindful of the people around us – it’s hard to put 100% effort into anything if we have people around us that are draining our energy. There are some people who definitely need us, but there are others that are using us for their own benefit. It’s for us to distinguish which is which.
As we come to the end of the month it will be time to walk our talk. We will hopefully have embraced and prepared for the inevitable change that is heading our way and will be able to march forward with assertiveness and decisiveness – which has the added
benefit of attracting the people who are meant to share this part of our journey with us.
Our luck throughout the month is to take time to ourselves and listen to our inner voice. It’s important to find the time to be alone in order to be in tune with our intuition. When we have constant
external voices around us all the time it’s hard to make the decisions which are right for us personally. We often end up absorbing other people’s decisions and demands and we can lose ourselves in the process.
The overall message for this month is about preparing ourselves for change because it’s going to happen whether we want it to or not. The theme
of letting go has been a consistent message for some months now and November is stepping it up a notch. There are new opportunities ahead of us, but we need to let go of the past in order to embrace the future. Some things of the past will move forward with us – it will only be the dead wood that falls by the wayside. This month feels less about getting tied up
with our emotions, but more about kicking our brains into gear and making some solid plans for the future.
Wishing you an enlightening month ahead with plenty of peace and quiet thrown in for good measure.
