Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it
and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
April, July and August – The Chariot
March, April, May and August – King of Swords
April and August – The High Priestess
The energy that is being continued this month is about focus and discipline and not being taken off track by letting our emotions get in the way. It’s a time for planning our way forward and using our intuition to guide us along the path.
As we start off this month we could be feeling quite disorientated if we aren’t in the habit of following our intuition. It’s as though we are on shifting sands and lots of things don’t feel particularly solid or stable anymore. Life will progress much more smoothly if we can let go of control and go with the
flow.
The first part of August is likely to be a challenging time. We could be drawn into emotional battles fueled by ego, or at least be witness to them. These could have the triggering effect of putting us into a state of fear and anxiety about the future and blaming ourselves and others for things that haven’t worked out in the
past. All this turmoil is a waste of time and energy – what is past is past. If we keep looking backwards, we will have no positive future but will keep reliving what has already happened instead of building something new and better.
In the middle part of the month there are still challenges to be dealt with. Obstacles can appear out of nowhere and slow us down or distract us from our goals. This is a real time of inner growth and development if we grasp the opportunity. Instead of getting irritable and angry about all the trials and tribulations which
are coming at us, we could instead keep focused and disciplined, with our goals firmly in sight.
Towards the end of August we will get the opportunity of a new way of life if we can let go of the old. Up until now the month has been full of challenges which, if we have followed our intuition and not immersed ourselves in misery and regret, have made us stronger and more focused on what we want to achieve. We could have a
better idea of what we want to keep in our lives and what we want to let go of. This will bring a feeling of peace and tranquillity and the knowledge that our dreams are about to come to fruition.
As we come to the end of the month it is important that we don’t compromise and accept second best – even if it looks like a great short cut to our goals. We need to listen to our intuition and only accept the best for ourselves and the people we care about. We have potentially come a long way this month and we don’t want to
backtrack and have to do it all again!
Our luck throughout the month is making some solid plans for the future. Where do we want to be in 3 months, 6 months etc. We can adjust those plans along the way if need be, but having them in place will ensure we don’t just drift and potentially get caught up in all the drama going on in the world, or in our immediate
vicinity.
August looks set to be a challenging month overall. It’s a great time for self-development and finding our inner strength and purpose if we’re not already at that stage. Following our intuition will stand us in good stead because focusing on what is going on within us will protect us from the chaotic emotions that are running rampant outside of
us. If we can remain disciplined, focused on what we want to achieve and let the ‘noise’ go over our heads, we will come out much stronger and wiser.
I wish you a month full of self-discovery and enhanced wisdom with peace and serenity thrown in for good measure.
