The emphasis which carries forward from last month is about making plans for the future – where do we want to be in 3 months, 6 months etc. It’s important to create a structure to follow at this time and also to be open to new relationships, which can be either love or business ones. These are the ongoing themes. The energy which is also revisiting from earlier in the year is
about getting off the fence and making decisions about what we are going to do with our lives, taking time to slow down and smell the roses and looking deeper into why we are here on this planet at this time – what is our soul purpose?
As we start off this month we are being asked to come out of the shadows and walk our talk. If we have good ideas, then it’s time to share them. We need to get off the proverbial fence and stop hiding our dreams and talents. It’s important to shine our light and show people who we are.
The first part of May is all about creating a plan for the future. What are our goals and how do we plan to achieve them? We can always adjust our goals, but it’s important to have some to aspire to so that we don’t just drift. These goals need to be made with an open heart and compassion towards others so it would be
perfect if benefit to others was factored into the plans we make.
In the middle part of the month someone we either don’t know yet, or is currently just an acquaintance, can become more meaningful in our lives. For some, it can herald the start of a new romance and, for others, the appearance of a new business partner or friend. Whoever they are, they will help us advance on our spiritual
journeys. We will gain more compassion from knowing them and more knowledge about dealing with interpersonal relationships, so that we will be able to deal with all situations with increased integrity and understanding.
Towards the end of May there could be travel for some of us, but also a sense of smooth sailing when anxiety and tension are behind us. We could be feeling quite settled and the pace of life will have slowed down, so we have the time to get on with everyday life and mundane tasks with no drama or fireworks to disrupt our
peace.
As we come to the end of the month we are being asked to look more deeply into whom we are on a soul level, rather than what body, culture and family we are born into this lifetime. Seeing the larger spiritual picture is more important than ever when we seem to be impacted daily with one disaster after another. The more we get
tied up in the day to day, the more we can become paralysed with fear and lose our way and our effectiveness. We each have our own unique soul purpose – some are here to help people, some to help animals, some to help the planet and some are here to disrupt the natural order with the result of waking the rest of us up. We all have our part to play and our own mission to fulfil. It is now time to discover and utilise our own unique gift and purpose, so that we can play our part
in making the world a better place for all.
Our luck throughout the month is keeping a cool head when all around might be losing theirs. Whatever we personally have to deal with during May, it’s important not to act purely on an emotional level – we need to take a breath and look at the facts on an intellectual basis. Emotions are all very well and extremely important at
times, but when they are out of control they wreak havoc within families, society and the world. This is a world which appears to be on steroids regarding triggering emotions in so many people, and we would be very wise to look closely at the sources of these triggers and whether there is an agenda behind keeping us all constantly on edge and emotionally exhausted.
This month we are being asked to look into what gifts we have to share with the world and how to share them. Also to rise above the many dramas which surround us and can take us off course! This doesn’t mean that we don’t care, it just means that we don’t become overwhelmed and incapacitated. For example, maybe it is our soul purpose to
help the homeless, but how can we do that if we are huddled in a corner weeping because of what we’ve just seen on the news. Constant immersion in negativity frequently leads to mental paralysis and depression, so we end up helping no one, not even ourselves.
Wishing you all a magnanimous May and a deeper understanding of your life purpose before June comes around.
