The current situation is that a majority of the people in the UK are coming together in loving and harmonious ways in order to support the people who need help. It paints a very different picture to the one we are lead to believe, so I would suggest that everything negative that we are presented with daily by our media and so called leaders should be
taken with a hefty dose of salt. It’s a sad state of affairs that only bad behaviour appears to be reported, but that is a small minority of the country as a whole. The majority are kind-hearted and generous souls.
The challenges we are facing are trying to keep body and soul together. People are trying to save money rather than spend it as well as attempting to keep physically healthy. We are going back to the beginning – a bit like when we first left school and got our first job. People are losing their homes, their businesses and going through
their savings at a rate of knots and, except for the extremely wealthy, the standard of living is decreasing. People are hurting because everything that they have worked hard to achieve throughout their lives is on the table and they could lose it all and have to start all over again. This is already a reality for many.
The energy that we are currently living with is of stubbornness and living in the past. Rather than solutions and new ways of doing things, we have leaders that are more concerned with status and of times gone by. They are digging their heels in and refusing to budge, which unfortunately blocks creativity and finance for the rest of us.
Hunger and homelessness is hard to imagine if one is living a life of wealth and privilege. Moving forward into a new positive era is dependent on removing any people from power who want to drag the UK backwards and, by so doing, distancing us from the rest of the world.
The motivation of the vast majority of the population is to live lives of ongoing contentment with loving relationships. This is hard to do if we are worried about paying the bills, not sure if we can keep warm or feed ourselves and our children. In the grand scheme of things, very few people want enormous wealth – they just want enough to live
comfortably, go out occasionally and have a holiday or two. This is very far from reality for many at the moment!
The recent past has been very impactful for many of us. The imposed restrictions of Covid have forced a lot of people into periods of self-reflection and spiritual awareness. The impact of Brexit on top of that has been like a baptism of fire for many people with the loss of businesses and employment. A lot of people buckled under the
pressure, but many others found an inner strength and purpose that they didn’t realise they had. New businesses and life purposes have sprung up in response to the human need to survive and prosper. A new way of living and being has been born, which is currently clashing with the overwhelming energy of some people who are desperately holding on to the past, which wasn’t as glorious as we are being lead to believe – unless we were wealthy of course!
Now for the future
The future is entirely dependent on the population of the UK because we can’t move forward under the current energy which is trying to anchor us in the past. The populace as a whole can’t thrive under the current conditions and we will remain in a version of ‘Groundhog Day’ until we vote out the current political party or change the whole antiquated
system. There are lots of good things ahead for the UK, but not under the current leadership, so it’s up to us to break free and relegate them to the past.
So, with that proviso, here are the cards for the future.
We are starting off with new relationships and new projects, which could come in the form of worthwhile trade deals and re-joining the single market. We will need to start again at the beginning, gradually getting to know our new business/trading partners and building strong and trustworthy relationships. Our reputation is in tatters in a number
of places, so this will take time!
We will be asked to make willing sacrifices of some of our old ways, in order to embrace the new coming in. These aren’t rules and regulations that are forced on us, but rather a case of letting go of the systems and beliefs that are holding us back.
The world will start to see us differently – they will observe that we are on shifting sands and need to be more intuitive as a nation. After however much time it will take to get us to this point, we will be like a toddler trying to find its feet and some solid ground. However much we might want to deny it, Brexit has forever changed our
standing on the world stage and we can’t pick up where we left off. We can, however, embrace the rebirth of the UK and the new beginnings we are being offered.
The card that has showed up in the Hopes and Fears position is all about study and new business. There will undoubtedly be fear from people who lost their businesses, or whose industries have been decimated and it’s not surprising considering what we are currently going through. Many people will push through the fear and engage in courses of
study, or start new businesses because there will now be more possibility of succeeding than there was before.
The end result will be many people changing vocations and working in fields they wouldn’t have considered before. Apprenticeships could start up again and some of the old skills might be revitalised making the UK much more self-sufficient than it has been over the past few decades.
Here, in the UK, we have the opportunity of a clean slate and a prosperous future, but we have to be forward thinking and stop looking backwards.
