Welcome to this month’s general card reading. I hope that it will resonate with those of you who read it and you will find it helpful.
Cards duplicated in the last 6 months:
March and April – King of Swords
November, March and April – The Wheel of Fortune
November, January and April – The Chariot
January and April – High Priestess
The message which carries forward from last month to this is to get our affairs in order – decide where we want to be in the future and set some goals so that we don’t drift aimlessly. Opportunities could turn up out of the blue and we need to be ready. What has turned up again from January is the need to be focused and disciplined and not waste our energy on trivial matters but to
listen to our intuition and let it guide us.
As we start off this month we have the Fool, which is the first card of the Major Arcana and indicates a need to come away from our comfort zones and take a leap of faith, even if we aren’t sure of where we’re going to land. It can indicate a new beginning for many people.
The first part of April we could be feeling a trifle vulnerable! We could also be attracting people to us who need our help and we’ll find ourselves taking on the role of counsellor and healer, whether that is our profession or not. We would be wise to be open to accepting help as well as giving it, as there is a tendency to
just give and not receive. Focus and discipline is needed at this time because we could make our journey a lot more problematic than it needs to be. It’s a time to resist getting annoyed or aggravated if someone hasn’t delivered, or something hasn’t been done to our liking. The energy we expend on getting angry is much better spent on focusing on our goals and positive outcome.
In the middle part of the month there could be the tendency to worry. Maybe our new ventures aren’t feeling particularly solid and we are starting to have doubts. At this point it would be good to write a list of everything that is worrying us – big and small – then systematically go through that list. If there’s something
we can do, do it and we don’t need to worry about it anymore. If there’s nothing we can do, then what’s the point of wasting our energy? The major problem with worrying is that we confine ourselves to a prison of our own making and we block off messages from our intuition and guidance. The solution is to make a plan and set goals. Where do we want to be in 3 months, 6 months or a year? These goals don’t have to be set in stone, they can evolve as we do, but it’s
important to make them, otherwise we will just continue to drift and give ourselves even more reason to worry.
Towards the end of April it’s possible that there will be some conflict or tension in the air. This can be as a result of people around us having disagreements, or us not having been clear enough in our communication with others and them getting annoyed with us. At any rate, a clearing of the air is due. If we can’t think
of any situation which is bubbling under the surface, then be extra vigilant that we don’t create one earlier in the month. This can all be resolved without loss of friendship if we listen to our intuition and let it guide us. Our intuitive guidance is getting much stronger and it could be a bit challenging if we like to have strong control over our lives, because it will sometimes feel as though we are standing on shifting sands.
As we come to the end of the month a new relationship could be starting for some – this can either be a business partnership or a love match. It’s a time of getting to know another person and allowing them to get to know us – warts and all!
Our luck throughout the month is to be open to new opportunities that come out of the blue. We would be wise to guard against dismissing things out of hand, just because they are unfamiliar. There could be a diamond wrapped up in that old piece of newspaper.
This month feels very much one of fits and starts, with us having to constantly keep an eye on our own emotions and doubts. My best advice is to give and accept help when appropriate, make a point of setting and working on goals and allowing our intuition to guide us. If we can focus on our own self-development and attempts to make a
positive impact this month, we’ll have less time to spend working ourselves into a frenzy of worry and, thereby, shooting ourselves in the foot.
Wishing you all an Amazing April where, hopefully, you come out the other end with more wisdom, self-discipline, tolerance and trust in your intuition.
